Irons
Penatek can centrifugally cast irons in a wide variety of sizes. Outside Diameters are available all the way from 4-1/2" up to 30-1/2". Castings can be produced in lengths from 60" to 150". Wall thicknesses are available from a minimum of 3/4" to a maximum of 5". Minimum cast weight is 150 pounds and maximum cast weight is 6,000 pounds.
Grey Irons - Characterized by dense grain structure and excellent machinability. Provides good vibration dampening, wear resistance, and lubrication retention.
Ductile Irons - Provide many of the same benefits as Grey Irons in addition to increased strength, toughness, ductility and hardenability.
Ni-Resist Irons - Noted for their resistance to corrosion Ni-Resist irons will provide superior performance in applications where sour gas, salt, acid, or alkali's may be encountered.
Abrasion Resistant Chrome Iron - This family of cast iron based metals can provide superior wear resistance in a number of applications. It may also be a more economical alternative to some Stainless Steels.
